How are the quarterly management and custody fees calculated and debited?

Each quarter, management fees of 0.05% and custody account fees of 0.06% are calculated based on the investment amount (excluding the liquidity portion) on the reference date (28 February, 30 May, 31 August and 30 November) and charged directly to your account at the end of the quarter.

For technical reasons, the quarterly management and custody fees are charged to all clients regardless of the fee-free amount. The fees on the investment amount below the fee-free amount are subsequently refunded (usually on the next working day).

The fees are charged individually for each investment goal. But don’t worry, it’s not more expensive if you have, for example, 5 goals of 1000 francs each instead of one goal of 5000 francs. So if you apply the quarterly custody and administration fees of 0.11% to each goal, you get a total of 5 × 1.10 = 5.50 francs, which is exactly the same as 5.50 francs on an investment sum of 5000 francs.

For investment amounts of CHF 50,000 or more, the fees are even lower, falling gradually from 0.42% (from CHF 50,000) to 0.33% (CHF 1 million and more).
